Egyptian art workshop for kids July 26 09:30 AM - 03:00 PM "The Summer Egyptian Art Workshop for Kids," hosted by the Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum at Cal State San Bernardino, runs July 26 and 27 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and is open to all children ages 11-13. Archaeological "digs," museum scavenger hunts, jewelry making and clay sculpting are just a sampling of the fun activities fifth- and sixth-grade children will be able to enjoy during the annual workshop. The workshop's general admission cost is $40 for the two-day workshop. CSUSB faculty, staff, students, Alumni Association members and Friends of the Museum are eligible for a 25 percent discount. The price includes materials, lunch and drinks for both days. At the Summer Egyptian Art Workshop, kids will have the chance to do hands-on activities, such as craft Egyptian-like artifacts and learn about Egyptian art, culture and history as they get mini tours of the largest permanent display of ancient Egyptian antiquities on the West Coast. To register, download the registration form from the Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum website. Children may be registered up to the first day of the workshop on July 26. However, space is limited.
